KIPP Stockton Middle School

HACSJ Working With Two Charter School Providers

The Housing Authority is working with two public charter school organizations, KIPP and Aspire, to bring high-quality education options to Conway Homes and Sierra Vista Homes. Both providers anticipate constructing K-12 grade campuses.

KIPP Stockton Middle School will be located in South Stockton in the Conway Homes community. The school is opening this August to 5th graders and will eventually serve grades 5-8. Over time, KIPP in Stockton will grow to serve grades TK-12, and the campus will ultimately consist of three two-story buildings and a gymnasium.

The Aspire School will be located at Sierra Vista Homes, will be managed by Aspire Public Schools, and will consist of an 85,500 square foot, two-story building, which will accommodate approximately 1,176 students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Our hope is that these public charter schools will provide quality educational opportunities for students and play an important role in the HASJ communities’ ongoing redevelopment.
