COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program (RAP) for San Joaquin County Residents

RAP is a collaborative program between HACSJ and HSA to provide rent relief to San Joaquin County Residents.

You may qualify for rental assistance if the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your ability to pay rent. Please read the eligibility criteria below before applying.

The RAP rent relief program is for San Joaquin residents who cannot afford to pay their rent due to circumstances related to COVID-19. The program is designed to provide a one-time rent relief payment up to $1,200 per month, for a maximum period of 3 months. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funding is available

Eligibility

You are current on your rent prior to April 1, 2020, and must be able to provide verifiable documentation for one or more of the following:

Application Deadline: December 31, 2021

All Applicants must be in good standing with their Lease.

All applicants must inform their Leasing Specialist of their income change.

All applicants will be required to provide documentation regarding income, asset, and renter’s verification (lease agreement / rent ledger).
