Summary
Danny Drive will be a two-phase project consisting of a total of 110 units of affordable housing for seniors 62 and over. There will be a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. This project will incorporate solar to offset 100% of the community space electricity consumption and 40% of the residents’ electricity consumption to reduce utility bills. Funding for this project is anticipated to come from LIHTCs, permanent financing, ground lease loan, MHP, tax credit equity, accrued interest, and other soft sources. Rental assistance will be available through the Housing Choice Project Based Voucher Program.
Funding
Danny Drive will be a collaborative effort between the Housing Authority County of San Joaquin (HACSJ), the City of Stockton, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), and key stakeholders from the private sector. Funding for this project is anticipated to come from the Multifamily Housing Program (MHP), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and other state and local resources aimed at supporting affordable housing initiatives for individuals and families at or below 60% AMI
