The Housing Authority County of San Joaquin (HACSJ) and San Joaquin County will open the wait list for Cottage Village Apartments; an affordable housing property for seniors only (age 62 or older) beginning on November 6, 2019 at 8:00am.

Cottage Village Senior Apartments is located in Manteca, CA. Cottage Village consists of 48 one and two bedroom apartments, 42 of which will be fully ADA accessible. The Housing Authority will provide Project-based rental assistance.

The Housing Authority County of San Joaquin, STAND Affordable Housing, Central Valley Housing and Stockton Shelter for the Homeless are developing in partnership critically needed homeless housing using manufactured homes in Stockton!

Renters in San Joaquin County need to earn $25.69 per hour 2 times the state minimum wage to afford the average monthly asking rent of $1,336.

New Homes for the Homeless Available as of january 2021

The Housing Authority received funding from San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services to renovate the Authority’s former administrative buildings. The project is a collaboration of Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) funding which provided capital dollars for an adaptive reuse development converting formerly commercial buildings into 26 studio apartments.

As Sierra Vista Phase l nears completion, phase ll can be seen rising out of the ground. Phase l & ll will provide much needed new homes for the residents of our community.
