The Workforce Development Specialist establishes and maintains activities to develop, locate, and secure job openings for Public Housing, Housing Choice vouchers holders and community residents; markets programs and coordinates job resources; performs related duties as assigned.

The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Public Housing residents. Responsibilities include ensuring the program meets HUD’s Performance Measurement System. Develop individual case plans, coordinate community resources and general case management. Strategically plan outreach efforts with a focus on zero to very low- income households to increase earnings through employment.

The Program Assistant performs general clerical and administrative work. Work may include data entry, receiving and distributing materials, answering telephones, processing work orders, maintaining files and records, mailing verifications, customer follow-up, answering questions, and generating correspondence. Performance of the duties requires excellent clerical and administrative skills and a thorough knowledge of modern office equipment. Some functions of this position may change depending on the corresponding department needs. This position will report to the Tracy office.

The Leasing Specialist is responsible for the coordination and implementation of administrative duties related to the Authority’s Assisted Housing Programs. Incumbent is responsible for conducting annual, special, and interim re-examination for an assigned caseload, and any other service-related activities for program participants. Performs clerical work which includes data entry, maintaining files and records, mailing verifications, customer follow-up, answering questions and generating correspondence.
